The sequel to The Kerala Story, The Kerala Story 2, turns out to be a complete disappointment. The film feels like it is made only to gain sympathy and capitalize on emotions rather than telling a meaningful story.
The storyline is weak and the screenplay is even worse, making the narrative feel messy and unengaging. The performances of the three lead girls come across as exaggerated, and their overacting makes many scenes difficult to take seriously. The dialogues are also quite pathetic and fail to leave any impact.
After a while, the film becomes boring and hard to sit through. In comparison, the first film, The Kerala Story, at least had some good scenes and a notable performance by Adah Sharma that made it somewhat watchable. Unfortunately, this sequel lacks even those redeeming qualities.
Overall, this is honestly one of the worst films I have seen.
